I'd say the resistance is all about coming from a place of our common humanity and not at all to do with our political identities, should we still have any (if we ever had any!). Recognising divide and rule wherever we look is becoming a matter of survival.
Thanks Helen. What you’re describing was certainly evident in the mass opposition to lockdowns and ‘vaccine’ mandates, which drew support from all political alignments and persuasions. How we build on the lessons of those heady days is another question.
I think we just keep going. Along the way we are either shedding our political identities or becoming more attached to them - the first group will naturally grow while the latter will at some point implode under the weight of cognitive dissonance. Those on 'the right' who are obsessed with Israel and those on 'the left' with identity politics are going to go insane with the lack of coherency if they insist on clinging onto their narratives.
Chris Rea is a psyop. That's been clear ever since he released the musical companion to this article years ago, "The Road to Hell.' It was all planned. I still like 'Driving Home for Chrhistmas' though. That's the annoying thing.
I don't like 'Driving Home for Christmas' so you can imagine how troubling it is having to listen to it every year knowing it’s all a huge psyop that I might be playing a part in!
I consulted a West End theatre critique's guide to reviews and found this: rip-roaringly brilliant, epic, two thumbs up, and 11/10! Plus at least one laugh per sentence and often two. Thanks Chris.
Nail on the head
Thanks Liam. Glad you enjoyed it.

Excellent and disturbing post. Thank you.
Thanks very much John.

Are you the famous musician?!

Thanks Rusere – it’s certainly been a pantomime and it looks like it’s going to run and run!
